Incentives

The In the Flow online community currently operates an incentive initiative for community members. Below you will find full details of the current incentives that are active on the community. The incentive scheme is subject to constant review. As and when any changes are made this page will be updated accordingly and you will be informed of any changes to incentives via email and on the community.  The Promoter (UNITED UTILITIES) reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the incentives in its absolute discretion as it sees fit.  The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of the incentives is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Surveys - prize draw

All members that have completed a survey will be entered into a prize draw where they could win one of four £25 Love2Shop vouchers. Only members who wish to be entered into the prize draw will be entered and members can complete surveys without being entered if they wish.

Entrants must be UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) and aged 18 years or over; employees of UNITED UTILITIES are not eligible to enter. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw. 

There are no alternative prizes, and the prizes will not be substituted for cash or anything else. 

Winners are chosen by the Explain community moderator using random number generator software from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions with a witness present from Explain.

Winners are announced within two weeks of the survey closing.

Winners will receive a notification email from Explain Market Research to their email address informing them that they have won. 

By taking part in the prize draw you are consenting to Explain sharing your username with other members if you are a winner and other users ask for this information.

If you wish to know who has won a prize, then please contact intheflow@explainonline.co.uk within 30 days of the survey closing and we will provide the username/s of winners.

Leaderboard community incentive

From September 2023, the points leaderboard will be incentivised. You can find this on the right-hand side of the community newsfeed. The more active you are on the community, the more points you will earn for that month. Those who are on the leaderboard at the end of September will receive a £5 Love2Shop voucher. 

Entrants must be UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland) and aged 18 years or over; employees of UNITED UTILITIES are not eligible to enter. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter.
